I agree. While extra cars are welcome they should be free. They have sold what 3million copies of this so far im sure they could give them away.
Id rather have extra tracks or them concentrate on Forza3.
Ive been playing GT5prologue today (import)and have to say graphically its the best driving game, but play wise i prefer Forza2. This has nothing to do with 360 vs ps3 as i have both and am a big fan of each and driving games in general. I prefer the way cars handle better in Forza and the slowing down to a crawl on GT when off the track is annoying me. I know you slow down on Forza also but on GT its ridiculous. It just feels better to me in Forza.

I really enjoyed Lost Odyssey, infact more than i enjoyed the last two Final Fantasy games. I would recommend it to anyone who like rpgs or anyone who felt the last fF's were a bit lack lustre.
As for sales wise its selling quite well. not millions like a FF title would but decent enough, it will probably pass a million by year end.
The thing with Edges scores is that a 5 is average unlike other mags which class a seven as average. So anything above a 5 is worth considering if you like the genre and anything scoring 8 or 9 is essential. The first Rainbow vegas got a review of 6 if i remember rightly and thats a good game, 6 is above average.
While i admit that there scores can be a bit sporadic there written reviews are generally spot on.
Off topic in a way but today i brought a PS3 off a guy at work for £50. Thats got to be the bargin of the century.
I already have one but nows theres one for the upstairs. Man he must have needed the cash bad.
I agree Forza2 is the best racing game i have ever played. I brought it on launch day and have played it nearly every day since. If im not racing online with friends im designing my next masterpeice to go on auction. 10/10 for me.
I know games arn't all about looks but these cutesy sort of graphics leave me cold.

Although Vegas 1 wasn't the best looking of games it was great fun to play and im looking forward to the next one but where's the HD lighting gone????
I don't mind paying £4 a month for xbox live. I mean just about every Ps3 game i buy costs me £5 more than the 360 one so it kind of evens out.
And considering what you get for that its not worth moaning about.
Just compare the amount of things on xboxlive to PSN.
At present Xbox live is ahead of the PSN and looks to stay that way for a while.

Seriously though a price cut is always good as we all benifit from it. Microsoft does need a higer standard of manufacturing than previuosly price cut or not.
Although i wasn't struck on the first one i might give this a go. Looks ok. But it will have to be better than the new Battlefield and Recon3 to get my money.

Sounds about right. I live in the Uk and the 360 is still oustselling the Ps3...just. The Ps3 is closing the gap though.

Who cares if there rip offs? By that logic Haze is a rip off of Halo which is a rip off of doom etc, resident evil is a rip off of the original Alone in the dark, Encharted a rip off of Tomb raider. Its a japanese RPG so of course its going to be similar to FF which also ripped off dragons quest and numerous others.
As long as the games good who cares?

Forza is my main racing game, sorry but until ive played the new GT5 for a few weeks to compare its still my top.
This looks ok but the racing looks a bit arcadey to me. Saying that Toca racing has been good before.
I think although its possible the 360 can run it i don't see it happening.
Im sure Konami will make enough money of Ps3 to cover the cost and i don't think if it was on the 360 it would shift many xboxes. Not because its a bad game, far from it, it looks great. But because everyone who wants this enough would have already brought a PS3.

In defence of the new Gt i will say along with the amazing graphics the in-car view is very good along with the sensation of speed, which is somewhat lacking in Forza 2. The presentation is excellent and the tracks are varied. Forza's race tracks although also excellent do seem bland graphically in comparison.
I know the gt programmers put alot into there game and i didn't mean for that to sound like a dig.
